I have installed, re-installed SC many times, and even tried to manaully open the renderer. Pressing "home"key does nothing during launch either. I have checked firewall and anitvirus, that is not stopping it either.

After many hours of checking, re-checking, re-installing, making sure things are up to date, I have isolated the problem to Social Club not executing, and I can't force it to execute as a standalone program either. Try to remove Social Club completely from the Windows register, run regedit. Then reinstall SC as a administrator. VC Redistributable x86 version is included in the MP installation.

If that doesn't fix the problem, I recommend you to contact Steam Support. Hope you get the problem solved somehow! Well, after trying all of this, and I appreciate your help, still no dice.
