The third game in the series is set in the Realm of Chaos and the Lands of the East with appearances of both daemonic factions and new human factions Kislev and Cathay as well.

Elden Ring is the result of a collaboration between George R. Now we've got a 20 minute long gameplay preview and a taste of things to come. We'd imagine this will be punishing, beautiful and story-rich. The new trailer certainly has a strong Dark Souls vibe to it, so we're expecting some tough but satisfying combat and a glorious story too.

In a post-pandemic America, where you'll be facing off against both flesh-eating infected and other humans who are desperate to survive.

Sound familiar? Saints Row is making a return with an action-packed reboot. Like many other games on our list, it's been pushed back a few times, but is still set to please.

The team is promising the best Saints Row game yet , which is going to be quite a challenge as the series has always been pretty great. Scorn is an atmospheric horror adventure game in development by Ebb Software.

It was originally scheduled to release in , but is still yet to appear. It is inspired by the works of H. Giger who was part of the special effects team for the film Alien. The trailer certainly shows some horrific visuals and a spine-tingling atmosphere that fans of the genre will love. Starfield was teased by Bethesda in June as the first new franchise in 25 years.

But that's not the exciting part, Starfield is set to be a space-based RPG with plenty of glorious fun in the depths of space. Beyond that, we don't know much other than we're excited. It is now available to wishlist on Steam though. Awesome stuff. The latest gameplay shows a staggeringly beautiful view of a horrific world.

You'll have over thirty weapons at your disposal, to deal with all manner of horrifying mutated monsters and there's a multiplayer too. Finally PC gamers can enjoy the wonders of Uncharted. Hazel Sky was revealed at PAX East and shows off an action-adventure game where you run about as Shane, a young engineer who's trying to fix various flying machines. Certainly a quaint looking indie game. Karl Fairburne is back again, this time working his way through eliminating Nazis while hunting down info on Operation Kraken - a Nazi plan that could threaten allied victory.

You'll even have the ability to travel to any planet, in any order, at any time. We'll be off to visit the Wookiees for sure. Company of Heroes is coming back. This time with a Mediterranean campaign where you'll be commanding ground, air and naval forces too. This new addition to the series promises authentic new gameplay features as well as everything you know and love from Company of Heroes including skirmishes, a campaign and multiplayer.

New soldier animations, enhanced AI, realistic squad reactions and a destructible environment should make Company of Heroes 3 a joy for any fan of the series. A psychological action-adventure with a rich and dark story that was essentially a dive into insanity via Viking Hell. The first game was utterly sublime, so we're expecting more of the same from the sequel. More demon slashing goodness from the Shadow Warrior series. We've always been fans of these games. Glorious colourful graphics, tongue-in-cheek humour and plenty of pew.

Shadow Warrior 3 seems to promise more of the same and we can't wait. The previous game was an utter RPG masterpiece packed full of vampires, dark alleyways and rich characters. The new game is written by the same creative genius behind that game, so we're expecting more of the same here. Sadly it's not looking good for this game at the moment after Paradox Interactive pulled Hardsuit Labs from the development and has postponed pre-orders.

End State is set a to be an interesting early access game coming later this year. It uses turn-based play allowing you to manage a mercenary company tracking down terrorists. There's the promise of an open-world experience where you get to pick and choose the missions you play in a world with destructible environments that include bullet penetration and more. An interesting ballistics simulation system and enemy reaction system should make this an interesting game for sure.

Phantom Brigade is a turn-based tactical RPG, that promises a cinematic spin on the genre. This game will also have a focus on in-depth customisation and player-driven stories. We've not seen too much of Forspoken just yet, but what we have seen looks incredible.

Set within the beautiful world of Athia, you'll take on the role of protagonist Frey whose cat, Homer, has really stolen the show , and use her magical powers to travel across the open world to take on the forces of dictator Tanta Sila. The Evil Within developer Tango Gameworks is back again, this time with something a little different. Instead of straight up survival-horror, the team is working on a first-person action-adventure game called Ghostwire: Tokyo.

The main character has the ability to use various magical attacks to ward off the spirits that have invaded Tokyo. After the well-received but firmly terrestrial spin-off that was Deserts of Kharak, the beloved Homeworld series is returning to the stars.

Originally released in at the height of the RTS boom, the series' fully 3D combat and exploration remains a marvel to this day. Although we've only seen a few brief glimpses at the long-awaited threequel, it's looking as beautiful as ever, and it'll be fascinating to see how Blackbird brings Homeworld back to life for a new generation. It follows the story of the Court of Owls from the comics, and is separate from the Batman: Arkham trilogy. There have been numerous Lord of the Rings games in the past, but the latest Middle-earth adventure will focus on Gollum, as inspired by the famous books and not the films.

Coming to us from Arkane Austin, Redfall is a new first-person cooperative adventure that pits its players against deadly vampires.

The cast of characters is eccentric, each with their own unique abilities and personalities. In it, you collect, sell, and breed colorful slimes in a wonderfully wacky world, while gathering resources to create the perfect ranch. The sequel will build upon the first, but boasts improvements like a more colorful, bigger world to explore. A Plague Tale: Requiem will continue with the stars of the previous game, Amicia, and Hugo, as they deal with the consequences from the first installment.

Since this a direct sequel, there will no doubt be callbacks to A Plague Tale: Innocence, but hopefully with new surprises as well. Craving more survival horror in space? Look no further than The Callisto Protocol , a spiritual successor to the beloved Dead Space trilogy. In fact, the studio behind it, Striking Distance, is led by Glen Schofield who was one of the original creators of Dead Space.

Bloodlines 2 was originally supposed to launch in , then was delayed to , and then delayed once more to past Hardsuit Labs was initially working on this game, but Publisher Paradox moved it to a different, undisclosed developer.

While a large portion of Bethesda is focused on Starfield, some of the team is working on The Elder Scrolls 6 , a game that is still quite a ways off. We also know Bethesda has overhauled its engine in preparation for this game, which may eliminate much of the jank that came with other installments.

What started as a mere expansion to the original, Silksong ended up turning into a fully-fledged sequel, starring a new character named Hornet. While Silksong will borrow many mechanics from the first game, it will have new features, as well -- including improvements to the healing system, and more. Referred to as Project , this new game will put us in the shoes of James Bond, serving as an original story, separate from the films. It will be an origin story, featuring a younger, less experienced Bond.
