Grid 2 crashes to desktop windows 7

Last edited by Troy Touchdown ; 19 Jun, pm. Do you have that entry? You should have that device by default in both Win 7 and Win 8. There is a solution if it is not present, but I would like to know if that might be the problem before posting any solutions. I have the same problem.

Update BIOS and chipset drivers, all the same after starting grid 2 logo appears on a black background, the game crashes and says "failed to start the game the application is running ," but in the process there is no such.

The problem is after completing a race the Game just crashes right back to the desktop. I have tried Race Day and I think it's called Grid World, it's the career mode equivalent, and both do the same exact thing once the race is finished.

I can watch the replay of the race but once I try to continue the game crashes. I wait and wait to see what the crash report stats but it just sits there and searches. I just played Dead Space for two hours without any issues so it has to be something with the game. Also, when racing it plays beautifully without any issues until I finish the race.

I've tried the non-AVX runtime, no success - just many minidumps in the folder. Running latest publicly available NVidia drivers,
